GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q: WHEN AND WHERE DOES THE GATHERING TAKE PLACE?
A: The gathering will take place at the Marriott Springfield Downtown Hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, May 5, 2024, with programming ending at 12:15 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 followed by grab-and-go lunch. We recommend booking your return flights for after 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
Q: WHAT ARE THE COSTS TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE?
A: HGF will cover registration fees and provide kosher meals from Sunday dinner through Tuesday lunch. Attendees will be responsible for all hotel and travel expenses to and from their home community.
Q: HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM AT THE MARRIOTT SPRINGFIELD DOWNTOWN?
A: HGF has secured a discounted rate at the Marriott Springfield Downtown. Book your room here to receive the discounted rate.
Q: WHAT IS THE HGF CONFERENCE STATEMENT OF VALUES?
A: The HGF is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all Life & Legacy participants. We embrace learning from different perspectives, encourage the exchange of ideas, and believe in hearing from all voices because it strengthens our conversation and advances our work.
Q: HOW MUCH IS PARKING AT THE HOTEL?
A: Parking for overnight hotel guests is $10 per night, parking is free for daily visitors. More information on the hotel and parking can be found here.
Q: WILL FOOD AND MEALS BE KOSHER?
A: All food served throughout the conference will be certified Kosher and prepared by a local kosher catering company from Sunday dinner to Tuesday lunch. We are happy to accommodate food allergies. Please list all dietary restrictions on the conference registration form when prompted.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
A: Our conference dress code is business casual. Some events are outdoors in the evenings. Layers are encouraged.
Make sure to bring a reusable water bottle to refill at water stations, a reusable coffee/tea mug if desired to help cut down on waste, a tote bag to carry your swag, some business cards for networking, and cash for tipping hotel room cleaning staff.

Q: I AM NOT ABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON. WILL WORKSHOPS BE RECORDED?
A: This will be a hands-on, experiential conference, and as such, sessions will not be recorded.
